History of Ole’ Big Red and Big Red Accounting & Tax

 After college, I took a position with a small accounting and tax firm in downtown Racine, Wisconsin. From there, I’ve gone on to work for many larger companies in various accounting roles for almost 30 years.  I’ve always reflected to that small accounting business I started out with, wondering if I should start my own business, with the purpose of dedicating it to helping small businesses and individuals with their accounting and income tax needs.  It led me to the conclusion of establishing “Big Red Accounting and Tax Services, LLC.”  With this company, my mission is to not only address immediate needs, but also to be a long-term partner, aiding in growth, financial understanding, and informed decision-making.

As for the name, it pays homage to the restoration of an old big red pickup truck with my dad in high school, and I still have it today! I look forward to meeting you, and you might even see me cruising around in the Wisconsin areas of Racine and Kenosha or attending an occasional car show in the ole’ big red pickup.
